Keefe Center For The Arts Customers Reviews
Don't pay too much for an obstructed view
I ended up spending $146.60 for a single ticket, assuming the seat would have a good view. The seat ended up having a severly obstructed view. I splurged on the higher priced ticket. I could see maybe a fifth of the stage. I was able to see Shrek The Musical, as long as she stayed at the front of the stage, and 2 1/2 backup singers - that's it.
The majority of people in my section were moved to further away, cheaper seats so they could actually see the whole stage. The obstructed-view seats really should have been sold at a discounted price. They were adviced to contact Ticketmaster to see if they could get some of their money back. If you go to this show, please review the seating chart carefully. You will want to be in the center. Anything on the sides will have an obstructed view.
Apart from the seating issues, it was a good show. Diana played all the favorites. She even did a great rendition of "I Will Survive". She was very sweet and engaged in some audience interaction. Two lucky fans even got to go up on stage and dance with her. She changed costumes about six times, each dress more dazzling than the last. I didn't see the band, but they sounded great. If you sat in the front portion of the pit area, you might have gotten the opportunity to get something signed by Diana.
